Alkemia Capital starts a new phase of growth: new shareholders and new funds.

At a pivotal moment in its growth journey, Alkemia Capital is proud to announce the entry of two new partners, Simone Cremonini and Giacomo Picchetto, who, through their holding company, have completed the acquisition of a significant stake in the SGR.

The new partners, already founders and managers of the venture capital fund “Sinergia Venture Fund” (whose management mandate has been transferred to Alkemia), join the founding partners Luca Duranti, Walter Gaiani, and Robert Segatto, bringing innovation and distinctive expertise to Alkemia in areas of the private markets that are both highly relevant and complementary to the existing offering.

The opening of Alkemia’s capital was accompanied by several key milestones aimed at supporting the company’s growth. The firm’s strategic offering has been strengthened and expanded with the addition of venture capital, the launch of a new PIPE fund (private investments in public equity), and the development of new “thematic private equity” funds.

The management team has been strengthened with the addition of five new professionals.

Thanks to its new structure, Alkemia is now active across most segments of the private capital market, with total Assets Under Management (“AUM”) of approximately €200 million. The firm offers a broad range of equity solutions designed to support Italian companies and their growth plans — which remain the core target of its investment strategies. These assets have been raised from both private wealth (including HNWIs and Family Offices) and institutional investors, both in Italy and internationally.

Here is the official press release.
