One year ago, Convivio was launched as the operating holding company of Alkemia’s Food Excellence thematic private equity fund, with a clear vision: to create an Italian industrial hub dedicated to fresh pasta and fine gastronomy, capable of bringing together complementary businesses, enhancing their know-how, and supporting their expansion in national and international markets.
Over the course of its first twelve months of activity, the holding company laid the foundations for its industrial platform, developing the initial production and commercial synergies among the five aggregated companies to optimize processes, increase operational efficiency, and approach the market with a broader and more integrated offering. At the same time, distribution channels for the individual brands were expanded, strengthening their presence in large-scale retail (GDO) and developing new opportunities in specialized channels, confirming the growth potential of all companies within the Group.
Convivio stems from a precise industrial strategy aimed at enhancing Italian companies that share distinctive expertise and a strong footprint in their respective markets. The journey completed by the Group in this first year confirms the soundness of the investment thesis and the project's ability to translate into a structured development path. The phase beginning today will focus on strengthening the industrial platform, welcoming new business entities, and further developing operational and commercial synergies, fully in line with the vision that has guided the project since its inception.

Today, Convivio brings together five companies – Valsugana Sapori, Pastificio Cecchin, Casanova Food, Parmachef, and Poggiolini – with a combined revenue of approximately €27 million. This scope is set to expand as part of a development plan aiming to reach €100 million in revenue within five years, driven by organic growth and new add-on acquisitions.
A journey that will continue to be driven by the same strategic vision that inspired the project, aiming to consolidate an increasingly competitive industrial platform capable of enhancing Italian food excellence through investments, expertise, and a long-term perspective.
